Personal profile

My name is Matti-J. Schödel and I am a teacher and pianist.
As such, I have been playing the piano since my early childhood and have successfully participated in several competitions, including winning a first prize winners at the national competition of “Jugend Musiziert”. I give piano recitals and play regularly for weddings and celebrations.
Since my youth I have been involved in several pop and rock projects, work as a solo artist and have experience at the st Mediagurus in Magdeburg, producing audio advertising and jingles for radio stations.
As an educator with state recognition, I was employed at several day-care centers, including the Lichtenberg music kindergarten of the NordOst kindergartens and the music kindergarten of the State Opera Unter den Linden. During this time I was able to develop my skills in the methodical implementation of musical series for children and have developed concepts that promote the musical abilities of children through playful and fun offers.
Due to numerous internships in inpatient care facilities and my personal experience as a booked pianist in the above-mentioned institutions, I know that the residents are very happy to hear sounds of classical music and evergreens in particular.
